French Family Meal Traditions Review

Hi there blog readers! Agent Liz here with my first post and it’s about food. I expect many of my contributions here will have something to do with sustenance. Today I am writing about my 2017 French Family Meal Traditions experience. Let’s dig in! French Family Meal Traditions is a three hour, five course lunch at Monsieur Paul located in the France Pavilion of World Showcase in Epcot. This special dining experience is only offered on select days during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. This is a signature restaurant and does come with a dress code. I usually wear a comfortable day dress, or nice blouse with a skirt for a day time in park event. As occasionally happens at Walt Disney World, my friend and I arrived later than expected. Since we were the last two to arrive, the hostess downstairs graciously escorted us to the last two seats available. The view was lovely and we arrived in time to get to know our table mates a bit before the first course began. It is

When Your Walt Disney World Vacation Feels Official

One could say that as soon as you book your Walt Disney World vacation it becomes official but for me, there are certain things that must happen before it really feels official. Arriving in Orlando.   This one may seem obvious but the first feeling I get that my vacation has officially begun is when I see signs for Disney’s Magical Express.   I get so excited as I exit the plane and make my way to the motor coach that will deliver me to my happy place.   It’s the first sign of many that my vacation has officially begun. Taking a Ride on the Monorail.   There was this one trip I took as a kid where we rode the monorail so many times that we had the safety spiel memorized.   That might not seem that impressive to avid WDW fans but as a kid and not having any knowledge of the Spanish language, it felt pretty cool to know that phrase.   Now a trip to Walt Disney World just doesn’t feel official until I hear that beloved safety spiel.   “Please stand clear of the doors. Top 5 Disney Cruise Activities for Adults

If you've ever brought up a Disney Cruise to those who aren't in the know, I bet you've heard the all too familiar phrase "Aren't there kids everywhere?!" So today I wanted to share with you my top five reasons why I love Disney Cruising WITHOUT kids!  I've personally taken three Disney Cruises and have my fourth one coming up, but none of these trips include kiddos.  People look at me like I'm a bit nuts when I tell them this, since they equate the cruise line with fun loving children everywhere.  (Don't get me wrong, DCL is absolutely fantastic for kids too!) But they truly have something for everyone.  All the photos in this post are from my recent cruise on the Disney Magic (Mediterranean itinerary) but you should be able to find something similar on any of the ships in Disney's fleet! 5. See a Show Disney Cruise Line has some of the best entertainment in the industry with their Broadway-caliber performances and fantastic on-board ent

Photo Tour: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Part 1

Hello wizards, witches and muggles!  Today let's take a little photo journey through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort. First, as any new Hogwarts student would do, let's head to Diagon Alley located in Universal Studios Florida for some school supplies and to explore.  The Knight Bus and Grimmauld Place indicate that you might be getting warmer.  Upon a closer inspection between a book store and a record shop, you see a sign that looks old to the unassuming passerby, but indicates that the Leaky Cauldron is on the other side. Upon entering through the secret courtyard, you are greeted with fun stores of all colors and magical mystery.  Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is hard to miss with their larger than life mascot tipping his hat to you.  Here you will also find Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions and Shutterbutton's Studio among other shops.  When you look overhead, you might just catch a glimpse of a fire-breathing dragon gu
