I finally achieved a lifelong goal of mine, to attend each and every one of Epcot's festivals in the same year (there are four, and I'm not local!) And now that I've successfully done each one, I wanted to give a run down of the basics of each festival to help you plan your next trip to the one that suits you best!   I am in no way a fan of horror, haunted houses or generally scary things, so when my friends decided to attend Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida, I had serious concerns. Like, "what am I getting myself into" concerns. Eventually, I succumbed to peer pressure and purchased my ticket but was still very hesitant about attending this event.  I am happy to report that I survived my first Halloween Horror Nights and I actually had some fun! Oh, don't get me wrong... I was terrified numerous times throughout the event but I also laughed a lot.  Halloween Horror Nights, aka HHN, is a separately ticketed event on select nights from early September through Halloween night each year. Dates are subject to availability so if you are dying to go (see what I did there?!), then make sure you purchase your tickets early. There are many sophisticated resorts in the world, but how many of them have a magical monorail running through them transporting you to the Magic Kingdom? Disney's Contemporary Resort is where you can find modern elegance with a sprinkling of pixie dust, and an abundance of the classic Disney service, quality, and storytelling. If you've never been to Walt Disney World, or simply aren't sure which one is the Contemporary Resort, I can almost guarantee you can recognize it. As a kid, this was always "the hotel that the monorail goes through" to me. As one of the two original resorts, the A-frame body of the tower is a classic icon representing WDW resorts. Universal's CityWalk is a dining, shopping and entertainment area with so many options.  Where to begin?  The Kingdom Konsultant agents have been busy trying the options for you to help give you an idea of what to expect and maybe narrow some things down.  All of these restaurants are quite popular and reservations are recommended.  3. Bigfire Bigfire is going to be your more upscale/fine dining option at Universal CityWalk.  The décor is modern and features an open kitchen, the bar serves up craft cocktails and the menu features wood-fired dishes.  All of the food we tried here was delicious and the prices felt reasonable for the quality of food we tried.  If you want a nicer meal, definitely check out Bigfire (but if you show up in theme park clothes, you will be just fine too!). Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom has become a fan favorite over the years, often having sizable lines for this small spot.  Tucked away in Liberty Square with gorgeous side views of Cinderella Castle, it is easy to miss but a treat to find.  Sleepy Hollow's menu consists of waffles, corn dogs and funnel cakes, although people typically come here for the waffles.  In the morning you can score a fruit and Nutella waffle for breakfast and later in the day you can get a spicy chicken and waffle sandwich. Because they are so busy, everything is fresh and tasty!  You can even peek the Cast Member's deep frying the goodies behind the cashier when you order.  The chicken and waffle "sandwich" is a personal favorite of mine, it's just such a nice change of pace from burgers and chicken fingers.  At time of writing it is $11.29 and a pretty filling option for the price.  On the menu it is described as "Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich: Broccoli Slaw w
