BREAKING NEWS!!!! 2018 Festival of the Arts Booth Menus!!!!

Heeeeeey, Disney Foodies!!!

I know I just brought you the announcement of the Festival of the Holidays Booth Menus a few days ago, but GUESS WHAT??????  I'm back with the 2018 Festival of the Arts Booth Menus!!!! Yup, with back to back festivals at Epcot, we have back to back menu announcements too, so let's get to it!

The sophomore year of the Festival of the Arts will run from January 12th - February 19th, 2018, but unlike last year's Festival, which only ran on the weekends, this year's event will run daily, due to it's incredible popularity in it's kick off year. For those of you who did not get to experience it in 2017, this Festival celebrates the arts, including performing arts, (Broadway performances), visual arts, (art displays and demonstrations), and culinary arts, (food booths a la Food and Wine Festival). Of course, because this is an ART festival, all of the dishes are served with visual presentation at the forefront of the chef's mind. Everything was gorgeous AND delicious last year and I'm sure this year will be even better! Let's see which favorites are returning, and which new dishes we can look forward to! (In the menus below, the items that I have highlighted in color are new for 2018!)

You Must Be This Tall to Ride... Universal Orlando Resort Edition

Universal Orlando Resort has branded itself as the more grown-up vacation destination in central Florida. With advertising campaigns like "kids grow up, so do vacations" and "grow bolder", it should be no surprise that there are many attractions at the Universal Theme Parks with height requirements.  If you're visiting the Universal Orlando Theme Parks with little ones, it's very important to familiarize yourself with the ride height requirements so you know which attractions your little ones can, and can't ride, based on their height. You'll find these helpful signs with height requirements for all of the attractions when you enter the Universal Orlando Theme Parks. Universal Studios Florida 34 inches - E.T. Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs

Frontera Cocina is one of the many restaurants you will find with a celebrity chef at Disney Springs, this one is brought to you by seven-time James Beard award winner, Rick Bayless.  The warm colors and open atmosphere is very welcoming for a contemporary Mexican dining experience.  Reservations are highly suggested and can be made via My Disney Experience or the Open Table app and the restaurant is typically open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 11pm daily.   We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy at all, which was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the weekend. We settled in at a table in the middle of the restaurant and got ready for the meal ahead.  While somehow I missed a photo, we did start our meal with $5 margaritas which is definitely a great deal while on Disney property!  This was a "Margarita Monday" special and we would highly recommend it!  We also opted for some chips and salsa and some queso. 5 Ways To Get Psyched For Your Disney Trip!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Disney Guys and Gals!      Is anyone familiar with Barney Stinson's "Get Psyched" Mix? Anyone? How I Met your Mother Fans? Ok, great! So you totally get where I'm going with this! If you have no idea what I am talking about, you can watch a clip  HERE!  Basically, the theory is that no matter what's going on in your life, you can get yourself psyched up and ready for something awesome to happen, all by listening to the right piece of music. Playing off of that theory, I feel that one of the very best things about a Disney trip is actually  preparing  for it, or getting psyched! You can have a whole bunch of crappy stuff happening in your life at the time, but if you have a Disney trip on the horizon... even if it's 564 days away, you have something to look forward to and enjoy preparing yourself for. In fact, many Disney fans, (myself included), pretty much get from one day to the next by preparing for upcoming trips. You may even book a ne
