When Your Walt Disney World Vacation Feels Official

One could say that as soon as you book your Walt Disney World vacation it becomes official but for me, there are certain things that must happen before it really feels official. Arriving in Orlando.   This one may seem obvious but the first feeling I get that my vacation has officially begun is when I see signs for Disney’s Magical Express.   I get so excited as I exit the plane and make my way to the motor coach that will deliver me to my happy place.   It’s the first sign of many that my vacation has officially begun. Taking a Ride on the Monorail.   There was this one trip I took as a kid where we rode the monorail so many times that we had the safety spiel memorized.   That might not seem that impressive to avid WDW fans but as a kid and not having any knowledge of the Spanish language, it felt pretty cool to know that phrase.   Now a trip to Walt Disney World just doesn’t feel official until I hear that beloved safety spiel.   “Please stand clear of the doors. The fam and I hit up the park the other night to enjoy some rides and fun before summer officially kicks off and school is out. (Yes, our kids last day of school is THIS WEEK!) While we were there, we of course, had to try out some of the newer items that are being served up in the parks. What kind of Disney fans would we be if we didn't? I'm happy to share that we experienced some tasty new items and would love to share them with you now. Let's check 'em out! ~~~~~~~~~ 1. 2019 Grand Floridian Chocolate Egg Display!

Happy Spring, Disney Fans!      Hope you're finding some rays of sunshine and the first peeks of buds and flowers out your windows. Spring is in full bloom here in Orlando, (just ask my allergies!), and my kids and I hit up one of our favorite springtime displays, The Grand Floridian Chocolate Egg Display ! Every year, the pastry chefs go nuts hand carving giant chocolate eggs into edible displays of Disney art. They are pretty amazing and the popularity of them grows annually. In fact, this year there are even eggs on display in other resorts too, like The Contemporary and The Yacht and Beach Club. Now, I haven't gotten the chance to check out any of the other displays yet, but I do have pictures to share of the eggs from The Grand, so let's check 'em out! ~~~~ Lilo and Stitch Front Lilo and Stitch Back Three Caballeros Front Three Caballeros Back Humpty Dumpty Front Humpty Dumpty Back Up Front Up Back Mary
