The Cowfish: Burgers, Sushi & Burgushi

The Cowfish at Universal's CityWalk is a unique restaurant serving a combination of burgers and sushi which gives everyone in the family something to be happy about.  It is centrally located in CityWalk above Vivo Italian Kitchen with indoor seating. a beautiful patio seating area overlooking CityWalk below and has a modern eclectic vibe once inside.  We chose to sit inside and started with some cocktails for the adults and appetizers for all to appease our hungry bellies.  The cocktails were top notch and the appetizers got us even more excited for the meal ahead as they were so delicious!  What was extra great about this place for us, is that it made sushi and seafood approachable for the kids so they were willing to try things they maybe wouldn't have otherwise so it was great to see them venture out of their comfort zone a bit!  Buffalos and Bacon: Buffalo Trace bourbon, cherry liqueur, angostura and orange bitters, honey, candied bacon Angel's Envy Manhattan Blackened

Top 10 Must Do's at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom park was the last of the four Florida parks to open in 1998 and offers, by far, the most unique park experience.  Although it may not have as many attractions as the other parks, Animal Kingdom's 500 acres are jam packed with exquisite details and theming!  The park is currently home to 7 lands: The Oasis, Discovery Island, Africa, Asia, DinoLand, U.S.A., Rafiki's Planet Watch and Pandora - The World of Avatar. While visiting Animal Kingdom, you can encounter exotic animals from all over the world and learn a little something while you do!  The park is dedicated to conservation and is committed to animal care, education and research.  There are plenty of things to see and do while visiting the Animal Kingdom but here are my top ten Must Do's that aren't to be missed! 10. DINOSAUR Head over to DinoLand U.S.A. for a prehistoric journey through the Cretaceous period on DINOSAUR.  I really enjoy this attraction, especially the humorous pre-sho

What to Expect on Your 2021 Disney World Vacation

If you’re traveling to Disney World in 2021, there are several changes to be aware of following the Covid-19 shutdown and reopening last year, especially if you’ve visited in the past. Here is a roundup of some of the biggest changes as well as more insight to navigating your next Disney World vacation. Safety Masks are required for all guests ages 2 and up upon entering and throughout all attractions, at all theaters, on transportation and all indoor locations including restaurants, except while actively eating or drinking while stationary. Disney has some specific guidelines for those masks here . As of May 15th, masks are now optional in outdoor common areas and pool decks. Masks can also be removed for socially distanced photos in the parks and resorts, which is a welcome change for those who purchase Memory Maker to capture all of their vacation photos. Disney has also placed sanitizing stations throughout the parks and resorts to encourage usage before and after attractions, din

2021 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

The 2021 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival looks different than in years past but it is still one of the most beautiful times to visit Epcot and has many fun treats in store. First up, you have the stunning topiaries and gardens dotted throughout the entire park.  These are what really sets the tone for this festival. If you're lucky, you might even spot a character or two hanging out in the gardens.  I spotted both Alice and Mary Poppins at different times in the English Tea Garden!  Tinkerbell is tucked away in the back of the UK Pavilion Mickey makes a second appearance by World Showplace Next you have the Outdoor Kitchens and lots of yummy food and beverage choices around World Showcase and even popping down into Future World a bit. This is always my favorite part of any festival but it's so enjoyable at Flower and Garden because the weather tends to be just perfect for outdoor dining.  Here are a few of my favorites from this year's festival.  Sunshine Gri
