Pongu Pongu at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Pongu Pongu is a Quick Service drink stand located in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Although Pongu Pongu is primarily a drink stand, the location is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves snacks, as well as beverages, that are out of this world.  If you aren't sure where to find Pongu Pongu, just look for the AMP suit (aka the giant robot looking thing) and you're there! There isn't any seating available at this drink stand so you can take your drinks/snacks to-go as you explore Pandora or you can grab a seat at the outdoor seating area next door at Satu'li Canteen. Note that the seating area for Satu'li Canteen is reserved for guests dining at that restaurant but you are more than welcome to sit there before the restaurant opens with your items from Pongu Pongu. Next door, you'll find the Ale and Compass Lounge which is even cozier with comfy chairs around small tables and a fireplace and serves up delicious cocktails to wet your appetite.  I started my evening in the Ale and Compass Lounge with a cocktail while I waited for my table to be ready.  I had used the "walk up" feature and was able to secure a late table for the evening.  The Big Apple, Buffalo Trace bourbon, crisp apple puree, and Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth It wasn't long before my phone informed me that my table was ready and I made my way over to the host stand.  I was dining solo this evening and the service was just lovely, not making me feel awkward or rushed, just welcomed to a wonderful meal.  I couldn't resist starting my meal with some Parker House Rolls from the app
