La Creperie de Paris

October 1st was a special day at Walt Disney World Resort as it kicked off the Most Magical Celebration for the 50th anniversary of the parks in Florida.  While many people flocked to the Magic Kingdom, we made our way over to Epcot as it was also the grand opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris in the France Pavilion in World Showcase. This new area is a stunning addition to the already beautiful pavilion, and since it is new, the area is definitely seeing its fair share of traffic right now.  La Creperie has a quick service window for crepes to go, but we opted for the full table service experience for our first time here.  We arrived at park opening and after about a 20 minute wait we were escorted to our table and greeted by our server who was absolutely fantastic.  *Please note, now that the restaurant has been open for a while, it has gone to the reservation system and walk up availability may be limited or not offered.

Universal's Volcano Bay Premium Seating

If you’ve read our recent blog, Universal's Volcano Bay Basics , you may recall that Volcano Bay has a variety of seating options available for guests. One of the options you can pay to reserve is Premium Seating. Premium Seating is a great option for those that don’t need a Cabana but would like to have the convenience of reserved seating and some additional amenities.   My family was visiting during peak season, and I wanted to make sure we weren’t stressed about finding a place to take a break or having to wait on food.   I was torn about whether we really “needed” this experience upgrade, but I am so happy we went for it! For the best price, you should try to reserve your Premium Seating as far in advance as possible.  While you may be able to get a reservation upon arrival at the park, it’s always a risk. Plus, you will be paying top dollar if you wait to book. You’re probably wondering, what exactly does Premium Seating include? Here is what you get with your reservation: R

Review of 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicked off on July 15th and is now in full swing! Each year the Festival includes Global Marketplaces where you can taste your way around the world, live entertainment and fun activities the whole family can enjoy. For avid collectors, there's also limited-edition event merchandise available for purchase. If you haven't visited the Festival yet, no worries! The Festival runs until November 20th so there is still time to visit. We explored the Festival offerings a couple weeks ago and I'm ready to share our review with all of you. It was a short trip so unfortunately we didn't get to try all of the food and beverage options but we were able to try a handful of offerings to whet our appetites. I'm looking forward to revisiting the Festival in October to try even more tasty treats! Shimmering Sips hosted by CORKCICLE® Location: Near Port of Entry If you're coming from Future World, you'll find the Shimmering Sips

Universal's Volcano Bay Basics

If you have driven on I-4 between downtown Orlando and the various theme parks in Central Orlando you have probably been intrigued by the giant volcano that is visible near the Universal theme parks.   This curiosity is the centerpiece of Universal Orlando Resort's third park:  Universal's  Volcano Bay. Volcano Bay joined Universal Orlando Resort in May 2017.   It is a 27 acre water theme park, and probably my favorite part of our most recent vacation.   There is something for everyone to enjoy here, whether your goal is to find adventure or total relaxation.   Starting Your Volcano Bay Experience While you can purchase single-day tickets to Volcano Bay, the best bang for your buck is to bundle it with the other theme parks in a 3-Park Ticket.   Guests staying at one of the on-site resorts have an advantage for Volcano Bay:   Early Park Admission!   You can enter the park 1 hour earlier than offsite guests, which means you have more choice for seating and you can hop on the
