The Hollywood Brown Derby is Disney's Hollywood Studio's Signature Dining establishment serving lunch and dinner, known for dishes such as the famous Cobb Salad and the Grapefruit Cake.  You'll be transported back to the golden age of Hollywood when you walk inside and see the walls lined with caricatures of celebrities and rich dark wood tones.   The menu here was updated as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations so we were excited to give it a try!  The meal started with some lovely rolls and butter with fancy sea salt which was delightful.  I also started the meal with what I believe was an old fashioned but can't find the cocktail list now so can't get the exact description for you, I apologize.  It was great though.   We started off our meal with some appetizers as per usual, because I just tend to really love appetizers.  However, none of them were really jumping out at us but then our server said the magic words "pork belly" when we asked what he

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Florida is a time for a little extra jazz with your vacation.  All the Mardi Gras fun is included with your park admission from parades to headliner concerts (both on select nights.)  There are also specialty food and beverage items for purchase inspired by foods from around the world. Mardi Gras this year runs from Feb. 5–Apr. 24, 2022 giving you lots of opportunities to join in on the fun.   Concert highlights (for me at least) this year include Barenaked Ladies, Marshmello, Gavin Degraw and Jason Derulo. There's a variety of musical acts to suit many tastes!  Concerts are scheduled on most Saturday and some Sunday nights throughout the event.   The parades consist of beautiful floats and of course lots of beads.  Want to watch from a distance or see how many you can catch?  Find a spot along the parade route and take your pick. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is a combination of numerous displays of art through food, music, visual art and even art you take home to enjoy for years to come. I came to this event only one other time a couple of years ago and have been dying to come back ever since. We moved to Florida this past summer so now was my chance & I got to share my excitement with my husband.  They don’t open any of the booths until 11am so we had a little time to get an Art Festival gift card wristlet. It helps me to have that band so I don’t have to pull out a credit card every time I want to eat.  By the time I bought it and added money to it, the booths were open so off we went.
