Construction permits filed for live show venues at Disney's Hollywood including Fantasmic!

Disney has filed a number of permits relating to live show areas at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Three permits have been filed for Fantasmic!  This includes performance island and backstage areas.

Permits also has been filed at the Theater of the Stars and the EPIC Stunt Show theater.  Buena Vista Construction Company, which usually handles small maintenance work, is assigned to these permits. there's probably no significant work that needs to be done but it may mean that small changes need to occur before the shows resume.

All major shows have been put on hold since the COVID-19 shutdowns.  Keeping performers physically distanced has been an issue as well as the large number of guests going in and out of the theaters.

Paddlefish Restaurant at Disney Springs

After arriving in Walt Disney World around dinnertime with no reservations on our latest trip, we headed over to Disney Springs to see what was available and Paddlefish caught our eye with the beautiful boat shining on the water.  There was space for us at the bar where they serve the full menu, so we settled right in for what was about to be a delicious dinner. We started with cocktails and were very impressed by not only the cocktail selection, but also the bartender's knowledge and expertise on the menu to guide us through our selections tonight.  At the recommendation of the staff, we had to give the Lobster Corn Dogs a try for our appetizer.  These were so fun and very delicious (and I don't normally like lobster!) They are most like a corn dog in that they are on a stick, but don't let that stop you from giving these a try.  Next up it was time for our entrees, we both opted for options "from the port" since we were in a seafood inspired restaurant, we could

Narcoossee’s – A Forgotten Favorite

Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort I’ve been vacationing at Walt Disney World since I was four years old.   Throughout the years, I have eaten at countless restaurants across the parks and resorts.   I have my fair share of favorites that I always make sure to visit on each trip but some restaurants just don’t make the cut on each and every trip.   Sadly, Narcoossee’s was one of those restaurants. I had been to Narcoossee’s once as a child and I remember enjoying the view and the food but I didn’t have a lot of memories of the place.   On a trip in 2009 with my parents, we decided to revisit the restaurant and we all enjoyed our meal but for some reason it just didn’t stand out to me.   Thankfully, we decided to go back to Narcoossee’s in 2012 and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip!   A forgotten favorite had returned as a front-runner for my favorite restaurant and this time, I wasn’t going to forget it! I've visited Narcoossee's on almost all t
