Agent Karen's Top 10 Must Do's at Walt Disney World

Over the past few months, many of my fellow Kingdom Konsultant agents have told you about their favorite  Walt Disney World attractions.  When I’m assisting clients with their Disney vacation plans, I’m often asked about my favorite things to do in WDW, so I decided to write my own top ten “must do” list! Narrowing it down to ten was no easy task, but here are my faves: 10. Visit Disney Springs (formally known as “Downtown Disney”) – It goes without saying that the four theme parks are all wonderful, but please take a day, or at least an evening, and visit Disney Springs. There are some unbelievable restaurants (both quick service and table service) and amazing shops there. My personal favorites: The World of Disney store, Wolfgang Puck Express (quick service), and Bongos, a Cuban-influenced restaurant. I love to order a few empanadas a la carte at the Bongos carry out window & then sit outside & people watch. 9. Ride the Monorail – One of my favorite childhood mem

Agent Marla's Top 10 Favorite Restaurants at Walt Disney World

We’ve been heading to Walt Disney World as a family since my daughter was 3 months old, and she is now 12, so we’ve had plenty of opportunities to try new restaurants, but we always seem to go back to the same ones.  So, I now try to add at least one new restaurant on each trip and we’ve managed to find some new favorites over the years.  Disney is the perfect place to try new foods and new experiences!  With each discovery of a new restaurant, we make new memories.  Not only do I love these ten restaurants for their food, but for the memories we made there! 10. Coral Reef Restaurant - Future World in Epcot The first time we ate here was for lunch on our honeymoon, and got to sit right next to the aquarium glass.  We loved looking at all the fish while we ate, and even got to see divers.  The next time we ate there we had a 4 year old and a 3 month old with us.  We got to see Mickey Mouse in scuba gear diving in the tank!  The fish is so fresh that you hope it wasn’t one you just s

Agent Mary Ann's 10 Favorite Souvenirs to Collect at Walt Disney World

Every time I visit my happy place, I vow that I’m not going to buy as much as my last visit.  Then I step foot into World of Disney and any shot at having my luggage weigh under 50lbs for the flight home is out the window.  Too many cute things that I must have!!  Here’s a list of some of my, or my family’s favorite things to buy while enjoying our vacation at Walt Disney World. 10) Pins - This is not something I personally collect, but my daughter loves the whole process of collecting pins and pin trading.  I have to admit, many of the pins are very cool and it’s a great way to interact with other guests and Cast Members throughout the parks.  After each trip we buy a shadow box from Michael’s or Jo-Ann’s to make a wonderful snapshot keepsake of what was ‘hot’ during that vacation. 9) Pressed Pennies - The pressed penny machines are EVERYWHERE throughout all 4 parks and offer quite a few characters and themes to suit the taste of just about any collector.  During a visit while

Agent Carissa's 10 Favorite Things About Disney Cruising

This is where the excitement begins! Welcome to my “10 favorite things about a Disney Cruise”. The thing about Top 10 lists is that you have to limit yourself to 10.  The truth is, I could fill a book with everything I love about Disney cruises!  However, I’ll assume that you all have jobs, families, and regular lives to get back to- and limit myself to 10 (maybe 11). In no particular order, here are some of my favorite parts of sailing on a Disney Cruise: The ships' horns are music to my ears 10.  Horns -  These represent the very essence of Disney Cruising and give me chills every time.  From the traditional “When you wish upon a star” on the classic Magic and Wonder, to the larger 7 song repertoire on the Dream and the Fantasy, there’s something so magical about hearing these in person.  On my most recent cruise this summer, I'm pretty sure I set a new Olympic record sprinting up 6 flights of stairs to experience the beautiful sound of all 7 songs bei

Agent Heather's 10 Favorite Attractions for Children Under 5

As travel agents, we often get asked, “is my child too young for Disney?”  I am here to say that there is no such thing!  I used to think that, but I am pretty sure that had more to do with me being selfish and wanting to ride the rides I like without slowing down for my children.  As we know, not all rides are created for tiny Mouseketeers, and I wanted the thrills.  I simply didn’t want to stop for “kiddie” rides. After I took a leap of faith and took my wee ones, I found that going to Disney with younger children completely changes the experience- in a good way!  Yes, we did slow down, but that only made me take notice of details and attractions I missed before and really come to appreciate them.  Slower rides and attractions can be super magical when you sit back, relax, and see them through the eyes of your child. With that being said, here are my personal picks for Disney’s best rides and attractions for little ones (and the grown up “kids” that are with them). Agent Heathe

Agent Ashley's 10 Favorite Walt Disney World Attractions

Disclaimer: There is nothing scientific about this list and I didn’t ask anyone else for their opinions.  :) Walt Disney World has so many wonderful attractions throughout its four theme parks.  Trying to narrow down my top ten favorites was no easy task!  My favorites list runs the spectrum from 3D attractions and classics to roller coasters and firework spectaculars. Now, without further ado, my top 10 favorite attractions: 10. Captain EO – I love this totally, awesomely, cheesy 80's 3D attraction!  I love watching the pre-show and seeing all of the hairstyles and outfits.  Then you have all of the amazing choreographed routines and Michael Jackson songs.  I know it’s not supposed to be a comedy show but I find myself laughing at the 80's cheese-factor!. I also can't help myself from singing the songs for the rest of the day.  “We are here to change the world…” :) 9. Monorail – I know this technically isn’t an attraction, it’s a mode of transportation, but it’

Agent Jill’s 10 Favorite Walt Disney World Attractions

Disclaimer:  There is nothing scientific about this list and I didn’t ask anyone else for their opinions.  So without further delay, these are my 10 favorite things to do at Walt Disney World! When I visit Walt Disney World, I have a lengthy list of things to check off my list before I leave.  On every trip I must eat a Dole Whip, visit the Polynesian beaches, purchase a new mug, eat a turkey leg, take a trip on the monorail…it’s a comprehensive, sometimes ridiculous list but I love it! My top 10 must do attractions are as follows: 10. Toy Story Midway Mania - I wasn’t expecting much the first time I went on this ride, to be honest.  Boy was I wrong!  This is SO MUCH FUN for all ages, and I literally transform into this whole other person when I’m on this ride.  Whole other person, competitive monster, whatever. 9. Wishes - I did the College Program in 2004, and worked at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  I was able to see Wishes a LOT because of the location, and it was
