Frontera Cocina at Disney Springs

Frontera Cocina is one of the many restaurants you will find with a celebrity chef at Disney Springs, this one is brought to you by seven-time James Beard award winner, Rick Bayless.  The warm colors and open atmosphere is very welcoming for a contemporary Mexican dining experience.  Reservations are highly suggested and can be made via My Disney Experience or the Open Table app and the restaurant is typically open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 11pm daily.   We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy at all, which was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the weekend. We settled in at a table in the middle of the restaurant and got ready for the meal ahead.  While somehow I missed a photo, we did start our meal with $5 margaritas which is definitely a great deal while on Disney property!  This was a "Margarita Monday" special and we would highly recommend it!  We also opted for some chips and salsa and some queso. Now,

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs is one of my go-to spots for a great meal.  The restaurant itself is beautiful and I've had so many great meals there over the years. Chef Morimoto is a relatively well-known chef after appearing on Iron Chef America as one of the original Iron Chefs, so when he opened a restaurant at Disney Springs I was so excited to give it a try being a fan of the show and of Chef Morimoto.  This restaurant brings his masterful Asian cuisine to Florida in his first "Pan-Asian" concept.  With 20-foot chandeliers and glass walls giving a peek into the kitchen and a sushi bar upstairs, there is something to catch everyone's eye here. In October, they had specialty spooky cocktails on the menu that we just couldn't resist trying! One was pumpkin and lychee based and the other was grapefruit and rose and they were both good but the black magic was definitely our favorite.  Twisted Pumpkin: absolut elyx, pumpkin spiced liqueur, lychee, liqueur, house

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill is located at Disney Springs and brings a world renowned chef within reach for your next Disney vacation. The restaurant boasts laid back California cuisine with Mediterranean influences and takes on comfort classics. Reservations can be made 60 days in advance and are highly recommended.  We were sat with a lovely view of the pizza kitchen for our meal on this particular evening.  The restaurant was elegant yet comfortable, perfect for a dinner after a day in the parks.  We started the meal with a sangria and a beer, but they also have a delightful cocktail menu and wine selection.  With our wonderful view of the pizza oven, we of course had to try one of the pizzas so we opted for the  Italian Sausage Pizza with pickled peppers, red onion, fresh mozzarella, and basil and it did not disappoint.  It was delivered hot and fresh to our table and those pickled peppers added such a nice special touch to your everyday sausage pizza. Delicious!  For our second ent

Paddlefish Restaurant at Disney Springs

After arriving in Walt Disney World around dinnertime with no reservations on our latest trip, we headed over to Disney Springs to see what was available and Paddlefish caught our eye with the beautiful boat shining on the water.  There was space for us at the bar where they serve the full menu, so we settled right in for what was about to be a delicious dinner. We started with cocktails and were very impressed by not only the cocktail selection, but also the bartender's knowledge and expertise on the menu to guide us through our selections tonight.  At the recommendation of the staff, we had to give the Lobster Corn Dogs a try for our appetizer.  These were so fun and very delicious (and I don't normally like lobster!) They are most like a corn dog in that they are on a stick, but don't let that stop you from giving these a try.  Next up it was time for our entrees, we both opted for options "from the port" since we were in a seafood inspired restaurant, we could
