As a kid, there is nothing more exciting than finally being tall enough to ride the rollercoasters at Disneyland! It's a right of passage to finally be tall enough to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.  Walt Disney designed Disneyland as a place for the whole family to have fun together but that doesn't mean that there aren't a few attractions that are meant for older (or taller) guests. Some attractions have specific height requirements for guests, meaning they must be at least the minimum height listed or they may not ride the attraction.  If you're traveling with little ones, it's important to familiarize yourself with the ride height requirements so you know which attractions everyone can and can't ride, based on their height.  Disneyland Park 32 inches - Autopia (52 inches to ride alone) 35 inches - Gadget's Go Coaster 38 inches - Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run 40 inches - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 40

There are certain milestones in a person's life that everyone looks forward to; when you're old enough to drive a car, when you graduate from high school or college and when you're tall enough to ride Space Mountain. Hey there, Disney Friends! Ready for a tasty snack review? This one is a two-for-one since both of the items are at the same location, the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. We've got a beverage for you, as well as a snack!  First up, who doesn't LOVE Pixar's animated short "Lava"? We adore it in this house and it's still one of my son's favorite songs to fall asleep to. Of course, we HAD to try the "I Lava You" Float ! This colorful float starts with strawberry Fanta soda and is topped with a generous portion of orange-flavored Dole Whip. The swirl is then topped with a drizzle of passion fruit syrup and red popping candy. Hey there, Disney Fans!!! It's me, Jenn... back from quarantine! My Orlando-based family and I have spent the last 14 months in a pretty strict lock-down, due to my and my son's vulnerability to COVID. It's been a weird  year. That doesn't even cover it. It's been downright BIZARRE, but it is so nice to start to see a light at the end of the tunnel, as more of our country gets vaccinated.  We chose to give up our Disney Annual Passes back in May of 2020, because we knew we wouldn't feel safe being in the parks. Man, did we miss Disney, though! We would even occasionally drive onto property just to see those red, purple and teal directional signs, the naked monorail beam, or the still Tower of Terror billboard on World Drive.  So what was the first  thing we did when The Hubs and I were fully vaccinated??? Howdy partner ! If your family loves the Toy Story movies as much as mine does, you need to read these ten tips! Disney has done an awesome job of incorporating these beloved characters and movies into the parks and resorts. If you want to give your kids a fully immersed Toy Story experience, don't forget to do these ten things: 1. Stay in the Toy Story Section of Disney's All-Star Movies Resort! Ask your Kingdom Konsultant Agent to book you in the preferred section of the resort, which are all Toy Story rooms! Only preferred rooms are Toy Story themed.  2. Take pics with all the Toy Story character displays and scenes at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, including RC, Bo Peep, and in Andy's room.  3. My husband and I decided to honeymoon in Walt Disney World over 10 years ago.  Even though honeymooning in Walt Disney World is very popular, we still got quizzical looks from friends and family who wondered why in the world two adults would go to the house of mouse sans children.  (Clearly they’ve underestimated the romance of watching fireworks behind the castle with the love of your life.)  For those of you considering an adults-only vacation to a Disney Park, here are a few reasons why we loved our honeymoon and some pointers for you to enjoy a kid-free vacation:  Lady and the Tramp paw prints.        1.    It’s the best of both worlds.   We are not “lay by the pool every day for a week” kind of vacationers, but we do try to maintain a balance to our schedule.  We loved being able to get up early to enjoy the attractions and embrace our young-at-heart sides.  Then in the evenings we could relax more and made sure to do things outside of the hustle and bustle of the parks

A lot of us are in uncharted territory right now both in our personal and professional lives with social distancing and self-quarantine to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and Adventures by Disney are all also doing their part for social distancing, temporarily suspending operations.
